Overview

SEDR Recruitment was built from the ground up. The business started in remediation and bulk earthworks and grew through long-term partnerships with contractors delivering major civil engineering projects across the UK. That is where our reputation was built: understanding the work properly and delivering people who fit.

Today, SEDR supports contractors across Early Works and Heavy Civils. We work with those building the country’s infrastructure on frameworks such as HS2, Sizewell C, and the Lower Thames Crossing. Our focus is on the people who make it happen — the foremen, engineers, and commercial professionals who keep jobs moving safely and efficiently.

We supply Engineers and Section Engineers who understand design, QA, setting out, and technical delivery.
Our team knows the difference between groundwork tolerance and structure-level precision, and we find people who can bridge office and site effectively.

Commercial

The financial and contractual backbone of a project.
We recruit Quantity Surveyors, Estimators, and Commercial Leads who ensure projects are profitable, compliant, and properly managed.
Our commercial specialists know NEC contracts, package management, and cost control from pre-construction through to final account.

Each vertical is managed by a specialist delivery team.
They do not cover everything; they focus on what they know — so every role is handled by someone who understands it properly.
