Quantity Surveyor – Demolition and Enabling Works
Location: Bristol (office-based)
Salary: Up to £60,000 + benefits
A well-established contractor with a strong reputation in the early works sector is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join its growing commercial team. The company delivers a broad range of projects across demolition, enabling works, bulk earthworks, remediation, and civils, supporting major regeneration and infrastructure schemes throughout the South West and wider UK.
The Opportunity
You will be part of a close-knit commercial team that values collaboration, trust, and professional growth. The role will involve full commercial management of projects from tender stage through to final account, working alongside operational staff on a mix of office and site-based duties.
Typical project types include complex city-centre demolitions, brownfield enabling packages, remediation and ground improvement schemes, and infrastructure preparation for new developments.
Key Responsibilities

Managing valuations, variations, and subcontract accounts

Preparing cost reports and supporting tender reviews

Liaising with project teams to ensure accurate cost control

Assisting with early cost planning and tender input

Reporting directly to senior management on commercial progress
About You
You may have experience in demolition, enabling works, groundworks, or general civils, with a good understanding of project delivery from both a commercial and operational perspective.
